About the Publisher
Monica D. Ware is a Publisher, Speaker, Certified Life Coach, and founder
of Be You! Girl Magazine, a platform dedicated to inspiring girls to
embrace their God-given gifts and become the best version
of themselves.
Through her work, Monica has covered high profile events,
interviewing influential leaders, celebrities, and athletes, including
the White House, President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama,
President Joe Biden, Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, the NAACP Image
Awards, Essence Festival, Black Girls Rock!, Steve and Marjorie
Harvey Foundation, the NFL, NBA, and WNBA events and more.
Passionate about helping young girls dream bigger, Monica launched Be You! Girl Magazine's Red Carpet Experience,
giving girls opportunities to interview celebrities and build confidence through real-world media experiences.
Monica also hosts empowering events including Ultimate Girlfriends and Girlfriends in the Mountains, where women are empowered to inspire, influence and make a lasting impact in their lives and communities.
While she has received numerous honors and awards throughout her media career, Monica considers her greatest blessing to be the love and support of her three sons, goddaughter, gbabies, close family and friends.
